Let me introduce myself-

I'm Billy Warren or A.B. Warren to many in the law enforcement family. I'm a Gilbert guy, born and raised in the area by my late parents Bobby & Janice Warren. I still have many family members living in this area of Lexington County.
​
I now reside in West Columbia with my wife, Sharen of 31+ years and we have two daughters. Ashley W. Colegrove (her husband Vincent Colegrove) & Alyssa W. Borders (her husband Christopher Borders). Our first grandchild was born March 26, 2023. His name is Tripp, and we adore him! Nothing better than being grandparents. Can't leave out our lovable 17 year old YorkiePoo, Riley!

As I've waited for this opportunity to serve Lexington County again, I've been working in my business, 10 Zero Driving Academy to create a program that not only educates our students but also their families about safer roadways.

After being a victim of an armed robbery in 1984, at which both suspects had several prior convictions for armed robbery, I knew they had no business being out of jail. This experience and injustice lead me on my fast and rewarding career path.
In 1985, I joined the Lexington County Sheriff's Department as a deputy.
In 1992, I moved to the South Carolina Highway Patrol ending a 32 year career in 2017.

I will rebuild the Sheriff's Department with your vote, in order for us to better serve you.
